culinary brand Ambassador
Culinary Instructor & chef
My culinary interests started in Washington, DC where I grew up on homemade dinner rolls, pies made from scratch, smothered chicken and a variety of fresh vegetables hand selected from the farmers market.
My love of cooking grew when I got my first Easy Bake Oven and started baking mini cakes and cookies. I soon graduated to a real stove and taught myself to cook through trial and error. When most kids were outside playing, I spent my Saturdays watching cooking shows on PBS (this was pre Food Network). Along with a few close family members, my first cooking teachers were Julia & Jacques, Martin Yan and Natalie Dupree.
With no formal cooking experience, I took a leap of faith and enrolled in the prestigious Johnson and Wales University, where I graduated, with honors.
Livestream Chef and Videographer
After a few years in the restaurant world, I moved into a different part of the culinary industry – culinary instruction.
Teaching other people the skills they needed to succeed as professional chefs was very rewarding. As a way to reach people who want to improve their skills as a home chef, I started to bring my knowledge online through videos, online courses and different social media platforms.
Facebook Live? Youtube video? Social posts? Product demos? As and experienced chef instructor, I can help your food focused brand reach my growing audience.
