If you love a good waffle like I do, you'll love this waffle recipe. It quick, simple and makes plenty of waffles that you can eat fresh off your waffle iron, or freeze for later!
There is no need to mix your wet ingredients in a seperate bowl, so you'll have less dishes to wash. Win-win!
one bowl waffle ingredients:
2 cups all-purpose flour
4 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon salt
2 teaspoons brown sugar
1 3/4 cup milk
1/3 cup butter, melted
one bowl waffle directions:
Preheat your waffle iron according to the manufacturer directions.
Mix dry ingredients thoroughly in a medium sized bowl.
Make a well in the center of the dry ingredients and add the eggs, milk and fat. Whisk the wet ingredients together until combined, then start incorporating the dry ingredients.
Stir until everything is combined and there are no streaks of flour left. A few lumps are fine.
Pour enough batter onto waffle iron to half fill it. I used about a half cup of batter per waffle. Bake until browned to your liking. Check the doneness when steaming has nearly stopped. Serve with your favorite syrup.
